Circuit Supply was pleased to join fellow ambassadors, supporters and local business leaders at the recent Spark Community Space Ambassador Event in Portsmouth.
Tony represented Circuit Supply at the evening, which provided an opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and hear more about Spark’s recent achievements and plans for the future. This included the development of initiatives such as the Nurture Programme, which provides a more supported route into volunteering for people who may not yet feel ready for a mainstream volunteering environment, using smaller groups, a slower pace and more one-to-one support to help people build confidence and take their next steps.
Spark Community Space provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for people who may otherwise struggle to access support or feel part of a wider community. At the heart of its work is the Spark Café, a pay-what-you-can café where everyone is welcome, regardless of their ability to pay.
Circuit Supply is proud to be part of Spark’s Ambassador programme, which brings together local businesses and individuals who want to help strengthen and champion the charity’s work. Ambassadors support Spark in a variety of ways, from providing ongoing financial support and spending time within the community to sharing contacts, expertise and raising awareness of the work taking place.
For us, being an Ambassador is about playing a small part in supporting an organisation that is making a genuine difference here in Portsmouth, while helping more people discover the community and opportunities Spark provides.
